Just saying …

The wonder of the Trump administration — the jaw-dropping, brain-exploding phantasmagoria of it — is that it doesn’t bury its rottenness under layers of counterfeit virtue or use a honeyed voice to mask the vinegar inside. The rottenness is out in the open. The sourness is right there on the surface for all to see.”

  1. I don’t know if you’ve seen his campaign ad asserting that “it takes a tough guy to change Washington.” 45 has proven that it can also take an imbecile to change the entire world.
This administration has managed to combine all the worst elements of a train wreck, a dumpster fire, a clown car and a shit show with not a modicum of shame.
It appears that even the most cowardly Republicans and the most ardent sycophants are turning. Just this morning I almost spilled my coffee when I saw that McConnell has warned his Senatorial minions to prepare for an impeachment trial.
To that end I’ve asked my Roman Catholic wife to start praying impeachment novenas.

    1. Oh, I love this: “This administration has managed to combine all the worst elements of a train wreck, a dumpster fire, a clown car and a shit show with not a modicum of shame.” That makes me grin, and yet want to vomit, if you know what I mean. Smooth verbiage, Paulie. I am SO with you.

  2. For us rest-of-the-world inhabitants Trump is mostly a real-life satire, a mildly entertaining freakshow. And his advantage over Clinton is the simple fact that we’re all still alive … or most of us anyway. He’a busienss man first and foremost, so whe he sees a good deal he’ll take it and not throw expensive bombs on you. And that’s why he’s in so mucn trubbels with the rest of Washington and the miltary-industrial complex. Because they need infinite warfair. Doesn’t matter against who.
